How to download YouTube Shorts without an app

- Android: the Short goes to Downloads and shows up in your Gallery.
- Computer: it lands in your Downloads folder.
Why save Shorts as vertical MP4
- Reposting your own Shorts to Instagram Reels or TikTok without re-editing
- Keeping ideas: recipes, hacks and tips you want to try later
- Editing: vertical files drop straight into CapCut or InShot
Creators get the most out of this. If you filmed a Short and lost the original file, downloading it here gives you a clean copy to reuse on other platforms.
