2. Copy the address from your browser bar, or use Share → Copy link.
3. Paste the link in the box above and press Download.
4. Pick the quality you want, and the MP4 saves to your device.

Quick answer: to download a Vimeo video, copy the video’s link, paste it into this Vimeo video downloader and press Download. The video saves as MP4 in the qualities available, free and without an account.

What works and what doesn’t

Owners decide who can watch their videos. If a video is locked, private or paid, this tool can’t save it.

Choose your quality

When the video has several sizes, you’ll see a list such as 360p, 720p and 1080p. Higher quality looks better but makes a bigger file. On a phone, 720p is usually a good balance.

Save Vimeo videos on any device

Android and computer

The MP4 saves to your Downloads folder.

iPhone

In Safari, the file saves to Files → Downloads. Open it, tap Share and choose Save Video.

Use it the right way

Vimeo videos often belong to studios and creators who earn from their work. Save videos for personal viewing or study, and ask the owner before using them anywhere else.
