Privacy Policy
This page explains what information this website uses, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and in plain words.
What we don’t collect
You don’t need an account to use this site. We don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number or social media password to download anything.
What happens when you paste a link
When you paste a video link and press Download, the link is sent to our server so we can ask the platform (for example Instagram or TikTok) for the public file. We then create a temporary download link for you. That temporary link is deleted after 30 minutes. We don’t keep copies of the videos you download.
Contact form messages
If you send us a message through the contact form, we store your message, the name you enter and any reply details you choose to give, so we can read and answer it. We only use this information to reply to you.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, such as the time of a visit, the page requested, browser type and IP address. These logs help keep the site secure and working. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Third-party services
To load quickly and look right, this site uses a few outside services:
- Google Fonts to show the text fonts
- jsDelivr to load the tool that makes MP3 files in your browser
- A video data service that finds the public video file for the link you paste
These services may see your IP address when your browser or our server contacts them, as part of how the internet works.
Cookies
The site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or ads in the future, we will update this page first.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page. Please check it from time to time.
